Capabilities - Industrial Liquid / Wet Painting in Wisconsin

We have state-of-the-art wet paint systems.  Application is applied primarily by HVLP with airless spray also available.  Our facility and workforce allows maximum flexibility in lead times and color choices.  One of JPF’s strengths is our ability to paint large weldments in a variety of colors as specified by our customers.  Our standard return times are three to five days with exceptions to help meet your demands.   Please refer to our equipment page for details on size and equipment capabilities.

Some of our painting products come from major manufacturers such as Carboline, Hentzen, Sheboygan Paint, Sherwin- Williams, PPG and Valspar.  Colors can be matched to customer specifications or customized for both color and finish. Products come in the form of Enamel, Epoxy, Texture, Urethane and Water based. Product applications include priming and painting.  Additional services include in process and final inspection documentation of environmental conditions and DFT readings.

MEDIA BLASTING:

In preparation for wet painting, JPF has a media blasting booth that creates the proper profile for maximum adherence of wet or liquid paint.  JPF uses steel grit medium. This process removes any previous paint, rust, dirt, scale, oxidation, welding slag or minor imperfections, especially on and around welded areas. This ensures the durability and longevity of the painted surface.

We also have a 39” x 39” blasting cabinet which utilizes aluminum oxide media for processing delicate items.

5-STAGE WASH STATION:

Our five-stage wash station provides an eco-friendly, multi-metal, phosphate replacement pre-treatment.  The chemical wash removes oils, residues and can provide adhesion properties in preparation for wet painting. A pre-treatment process is often required to provide surface conditions necessary for painted parts to meet specified paint performance requirements.

Parts can also be wand washed with a phosphate agent prior to painting when required or as the most cost effective means of cleaning products to standards required by our customers.  This also ensures the durability and longevity of the painted surface.
